Axe Valley Runners were out in force racing across the country this weekend. From Manchester to Reading, from Exeter to London via Taunton, runners competed in distances ranging from 10k to the 26.2m on the road and up to 22 miles on the trails.
Back in September 2019, Kilmington athlete Luke Reed took part in the Brighton Triathlon which was also a qualification race for the European Standard distance race in 2020.
Luke managed second in his age group, which secured a qualification slot in the 40-44 age group.
With organised sport now permitted, the netball courts at Axe Valley Academy sprung back into action this week.
Axe Vale Netball Club hosted their first training session on Tuesday evening, hosted by head coach Trish Warwick.
