Axminster Town Under 18s 1, Chard Town Under 18s 5

In this rescheduled Under 18s game the Tigers started in good fashion creating a number of half chances, dominating the first half and playing their best football of the season.

A missed header allowed Chard to open the scoring against the run of play. But captain Fin Greysmark levelled with a follow up shot from a lose ball in the penalty box to make it 1-1 half-time.

Going into the second half, heads dropped early after a missed pass allowed Chard to score an excellent goal, which was quickly followed by another goal by the visitors.

A very disappointing second half display but lots of positives from the first half to take. Man-of-the-match went to Tom Symons who again controlled in midfield for long periods.
