Friday: Orpheus

The Community Waffle House in Axminster welcomes Orpheus on Friday, April 28 for a truly unique and authentic Latin extravaganza ready to transport you straight to Brazil!

Orpheus, with their melodic lines and diverse rhythms, play a potent mix of uplifting sambas and stunning bossa novas to sell out shows which have been well received by audiences of all ages. Ecuadorian/Swedish singer Annika brings authenticity to the performances by singing the songs in their native written language of Portuguese.

Sunday: Skate Jam

The new skatepark facility in Axminster will be hosting its first Skatepark Jam on Sunday, April 30. The event will be held at the skatepark, off Cloakham Drive, from 12noon to 4pm and will include demonstrations from professional riders, as well as competitions with great prizes up for grabs.

One of the UK's top stand-ups Chris McCausland is on tour with his stand-up show 'Speaky Blinders', about life, family, and loads of other nonsense as well – coming to Axminster Guildhall on Sunday, April 30.
