Looking ahead to another busy year at Axminster Guildhall

It's been a very busy year at the Axminster Guildhall and hopefully some of you would have taken advantage of some of the great shows/events that have been happening there in 2022.
Whether you went to the Drag Show, Axminster Eats, Let There B/DC or Forever Queen or are planning to go and see Dom Joly, Omid Djalili, Gary Delaney or the Christmas Eve Disco - then the Guildhall would love to hear from you and ask that you feel free to leave comments on their Facebook, Instagram or Twitter pages.
In the meantime, as we come towards the end of 2022, it seems like the perfect time to reveal what they have planned for 2023.
January:
Tells the story of the Hollies inception and route to stardom, full of their great music. This will be a fun and interesting show, for any Hollies fan or even just fans of great music.
The Guns and Roses Experience
The biggest, best and most in demand tribute band in Europe and the only band to have a member officially supported by Marshall Amps (just like the legend that is Slash)
February:
Forever Queen
The amazing band Forever Queen return to the Axminster Guildhall, for another evening of Queen music and fun.
March:
RWS Wrestling
A family fun night of top sports action featuring some of Britain's top wrestlers.
Francis Rossi
Status Quo legend Francis Rossi, takes up his acoustic guitar to play a selection of well-known and not so well-known hits.
April:
Quo-Incidence
An authentic tribute to the legendary Status Quo and a perfect follow up to Francis' visit.
Britcom
One man impressionist "The Man They Call G", brings you his live show featuring a host of uncanny impressions from British sitcoms.
The Sandy Denny Experience
A celebration and tribute to Sandy's role in British-Folk Rock music.
The Amazing Blues Brothers
Get your hat and sunglasses, as the Amazing Blues Brother crash into the Axminster Guildhall. This will be a night to remember.
May:
Bond on the Rocks
A 9-piece band that will shake and stir you through the music of James Bond.
December '63 (Formly The New Jersey Boys)
Yes, they're back. The fantastic December '63 return to the Guildhall for an evening of 50s and 60s music, inspired by Frankie Valli.
Steve Hewlett
Britain's Got Talent Finalist Steve Hewlett, joins us for an evening of ventriloquism with his famous friend Arthur Lager.
June
High Jinx
The High Jinx guys come to the Guildhall, and bring with them an evening of sensational magic, illusion and circus skills.
AJs Big Band
The Southwest's foremost 16-piece big band, arrive at the Guildhall in June.
July:
The Best of Tommy Cooper
This hilarious one-man show focuses on Tommy Cooper's legendary comedy act - bringing his trademark mayhem and misfiring magic to the stage.
Broadway and Beyond
An evening of musical wit, featuring hits from the most popular musicals of the 20th and 21st century.
September:
The Power Ballad Show
A live musical tribute to one of the most emotionally charged periods in music history.
Top Secret - The Magic of Science
Fusing the mystery of magic with miraculous feats of science. Hang on to your seats as the Guildhall is transformed into a real life science lab.
October:
Paul Young
40 years after his first hit was released, Paul is touring the UK meeting fans, singing hits and telling stories.
Elvis 56 Tribute
A fantastic show that celebrates the music of the one and only king of rock and roll.
Absolutely Dragulous
Yes, Marilyn and Amanda are back causing chaos at the Guildhall and this time, they are bringing us their special Halloween Spectacular.
November:
The Sounds of Simon
A tribute to the wonderful music of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel which takes you through their years as a duo and as solo performers.
Don't Stop - Fleetwood Mac Tribute
This wonderful tribute to Fleetwood Mac brought the Guildhall roof down in 2022. RUMOUR is they will do the same in 2023!
December:
Special New Years Eve Event
We couldn't possibly tell you about this yet, watch this space.
Phew! Add onto all this our regular Giggle at the Guildhall Comedy Evenings (featuring local comic Tom Glover), our monthly quiz nights and our annual visits from Axminster Drama Club and Axminster Musical Theatre - then we hope we have something that takes your interest.
