A DIVISION
Seaton will be pleased when this season is over. Yesterday they suffered their 12th defeat when they lost at home to fourth place Torquay chasing just 118 runs for their first victory.
Seaton won the toss and put Torquay into bat. The visitors were soon in trouble and with four batters back in the pavilion, they had only 39 runs on the board. Only Jiniv Joshi showed any real resistance with a knock of 45 and they were all out for just 118 off 31 overs.
Joseph Berry (3-20) and Tim Doulton (3-23) were Seaton's best bowlers.
Chasing such a low score, Seaton had a great chance to get their first victory but their batters failed to rise to the occasion and they were dismissed for just 79 in 23 overs. Only Adam Bilston (35) showed any form.
Seaton are firmly entrenched at the bottom of the A Division with just 51 points from 12 games.

Seaton 2nds picked up 5 points when they tied away to Topsham St James, each side scoring 195 runs.
The visitors won the toss and decided to field with Charlie Farraro (60) and No 5 Howard Smalley (44) top scoring. Joshua Thomas was Seaton star bowler, taking 6 for 39 off eight overs.
Seaton were also bowled out for 195, with Bobby Dormer top scoring on 86, an innings that included 12 fours and four sixes.
