The first game back for Seaton Ladies was always going to be a tough one, especially as they were hosting Ottery Ladies, a team in the higher division.

The first half was evenly matched with Ottery winning a penalty which was calmly converted, putting the score at 1-0. That's how the score stayed until half time giving both managers the chance to speak to the teams.

The second half saw a bout of goals with both teams scoring. Ottery added one to make it to 2-0, Seaton managed to claw a goal back, bringing it to 2-1.

From there on it was a battle with Seaton levelling the scores at 2-2 and then Ottery quickly coming back with a goal to make it 3-2.

Seaton scored again making it 3-3 with Ottery not willing to give in to make it 4-3. Finally Ottery clinched the fifth with 20 seconds to spare, making the final score 5-3.

Lucy Spiller made her debut for Seaton Ladies in goal and was awarded women-of-the match by Seaton manager Hayley Moxam for some impressive saves.
