Axminster Town Reserves meet Beer Albion in first league game of the season

Axminster Town Reserves, promoted to the Devon and Exeter Premier Division, will kick-off their season under new manager Jamie Barfoot with a home fixture on Wednesday, August 25 (kick-off 7.30 pm) against Beer Albion, who are expected to be one of front-runners.

This will be followed by another home game on Saturday, August 28 (kick-off 3pm) against Ottery St Mary 2nds.

Also in the Premier Division, Beer travel to Kentisbeare on the opening day and Colyton are away to Ottery.

Lyme Regis, who finished top of the COVID-reset Premier Division last season, travel to Dawlish United.

Other fixtures for local teams of Saturday, August 21: Division One - Beer Albion 2nds v Newton St Cyres 1sts. Division Two - Lyme Regis Reserves v Heavitree United; Seaton Town 1st v Pinhoe 1sts. Division Four - Millwey Rise 1sts v South Zeal United 1sts. Monday, August 24: Division Five - Farway United v Colyton 2nds. Division Six - Uplyme 1sts v Broadclyst 2nds. Division Eight - Cranford United 2nds v Millwey Rise 2nds.
