Axminster Town players, who last season took the Tigers to sixth place in the South West Peninsular League Premier East division, their highest position ever, are back in training.
And manager Dan Prettejohn has lined up an impressive list of pre-season friendlies with some of the top clubs in the West Country.
The friendlies will kick-off on Tuesday, June 28 when Tiverton Town will visit Tiger Way (kick-off 7.30 pm), followed by Exmouth Town on July 5, Bideford onJuly 8, Barnstaple on July 14 and Sherborne Town on July 22.
Entry to all thee games will be £3 and the bar will be open and refreshments available.
The Premier East fixtures start on Saturday, August 5 with Axminster at home to Torrington, followed by an away trip to Cullompton on Wednesday, August 10.
Axminster has decided to ditch their Reserve side, which struggled in Devon and Exeter Premier last season, to concentrate on the development of their youth section with the formation of an Under 18 side, to be managed by Sam Dibling, competing in the Western Counties Under 18 midweek floodlit league.
Trials for the Under 18s will take place on Saturday, June 25th, starting at 4 pm. Those wishing to take part should call Sam Dibling on 07387 263 438.
The club's annual presentation evening was staged in the clubhouse, organised by first team captain Jason Hutchings.
