Axminster Under 12s 8
Wincanton Under 12s 1 Playing in the second round of the High Holborne Cup, The Tigers started brightly with some slick passing creating great chances to score with many attempts just flashing past the post. Unfortunately, Flying Flynn Hartford in the process badly injured his leg/neck and had to be replaced. This didn't stop the Tigers from scoring freely in the first half with Theo Dibling claiming a quick hatrick with some tidy finishing. Ruben Baluch scored a couple, one a top header from Alex Graves pin point corner. Finn Lampey completed off the scoring to make it 6-0 at half time. Wincanton battled hard to kept the score down in the second half and got their consolation goal but not before George Manning on the counter attack bagged himself a brace goals to seal an emphatic win taking them into the quarter-finals with the finalists playing at the mighty Huish Park, home of Yeovil Town. The man-of-the match award went to Ruben Baluch. Manager Sam Dibling thanked Mark Burrough for refereeing the game and Simon and Huda for helping out. A super pre match breakfast prepared by Billie-Jo Mcgovern was enjoyed by managers and players alike.Share:
