Kilmington fall 13 runs short to win final

KILMINGTON failed by just 13 runs to win the Devon Mini-League Tier 3 final against Stoke Gabriel.

Batting first Stoke posted 219 for 7 from their 40 overs with S. Ansley (79), A. Kanwar (37) and M. Meech (27) top scoring.

Tom Gooding (2-29) was Kilmington's most successful bowler.

In reply, Kilington were bowled out for 207 with opener Josh Short scoring a brilliant 104 and Tom Gooding adding a useful 30 runs.

Tolley was Stoke's best bowler, finishing with figures of 4 for 24.
