That elusive first victory of the season still eludes Seaton who are firmly entrenched at the bottom of the Devon League A division after 15 defeats on the trot.
At home to Exmouth on Saturday, the visitors won the toss and elected to bat. They started well, putting on 143 runs for the loss of just two wickets and set a total of 240 to chase with Dan Pyle (71) and Jason Niemand (67) top scoring.
Best bowling figures for Seaton came from Damien Baxter, who took 4 for 43 in his ten overs.
Exmouth's reply never really got out of second gear and they were dismissed for 154 in 35 overs, losing by 86 runs. Opener Adam Bilson (34) and No 8 Ben Goodier-Gibson (35) were Seaton's top scorers.
Seaton 8 poits; Exmouth 19 points.
