Sidmouth Amateur Dramatic Society's annual pantomime is back this year at the Manor Pavilion Theatre.

They'll be performing an up-to-date version of Dick Whittington, with Axminster Drama Club's Isobel Blandamer taking the lead role in her debut on the Sidmouth stage.

Sharing the role of Dick Whittington's sweetheart Alice are Ellen Cox and Shona Murdoch, both making their debuts.

The also cast includes all members of the under 18 section of the society, performing in two teams of 'Ratlings', the trainee gang members led by the evil King Rat, played by Gavin Haines.

Students from the Funkyfeet School of Dance, led by Emma Wilson, will also be part of the cast.

The show promises "a script full of jokes and visual fun".

Performances will take place on 18, 19, 20, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31 December 2021 and 1 January 2022 at the Manor Pavilion Theatre, Sidmouth.

Tickets can be purchased online here or by calling the box office on 01395 514413.
