Friday: The Skalatans
The Community Waffle House in Axminster welcomes The Skalatans from 7pm on Friday, march 31.
This seven-piece, Bridport-based rocksteady band with a little Latin infusion is guaranteed to get you moving! Entry is free but be sure to book if you want a table.
Saturday: Axminster Repair Cafe
Axminster Repair Café's popular repair service is back again this weekend on Saturday, April 1 from 10am to 1pm in Axminster Guildhall.
Word has spread, and more and more people in the Axminster area are bringing in items for possible repair by the café's multi-skilled team of volunteers – come along and see what they can do!
Saturday: A UK choral premiere!
Axminster Choral Society will perform a St Matthew Passion by CPE Bach, in the Minster Church on Saturday, April 1 at 7.30pm. It was written for Easter 1789 and this will be its first performance in Europe since then!
Sunday: Easter Family Fun
Axminster Town Football Club will host an Easter Family Fun Day on Sunday, April 2 from 1pm to 4pm to raise funds for youth pitch improvements.
Browse a variety of stalls, complete the Easter trail, keep your children busy by completing some craft activities suitable for all ages, have a go on the tombola and raffle and enjoy homemade cakes and refreshments.
