Friday: Axminster Eats Boutique
An evening street food market outside Axminster Guildhall, from 4pm on Friday, June 23.
Be drawn in by the aromas of pizza baking in a wood fired oven, meats sizzling on the bbq and flash fried noodles. Feast your eyes on the colours of salads and the spectacle of cuisine cooked just for you. At the same time as Axminster Eats the Guildhall will be hosting a craft market of local makers and live music on the stage, making the whole building come alive.
Friday: Saxminster
The Community Waffle House welcomes East Devon's very own saxophone choir, Saxminster, on Friday, June 23 from 7.30pm.
Another great, unique, local community musical initiative, founded in 2008 by director Alison Davies, and rehearsing weekly ever since. Over 25 strong, playing music from baroque to Brubeck, these guys are sure to make their presence known in a night to remember.
