Live music to start your Friday
The Community Waffle House in Axminster welcomes Jemimah Paine, with support from Matt Levett, on Friday, February 3.
Jemimah is a professional singer-songwriter, singing teacher and worship leader, based in West London, and she will be joined by local artist Matt Levett, who you may have heard at one of Waffle's open mic nights.
Fix your broken household items
Axminster Repair Cafe will celebrate its third anniversary on Saturday, February 4, with a session at the Guildhall from 10am to 1pm.
All are welcome to bring along broken household items in need of repair, or just enjoy acuppa and slice of cake while watching the experts at work!
Cheer on the Home Nations
The Six Nations 2023 rugby championships kick off on Saturday, February 4 with England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland all playing on the opening day.
Enjoy screenings at The Castle Inn, Axminster, as well as their famous pie deal – homemade pie, chips or mash, peas and gravy and a drink for £15.

Membury Primary School PTFA hosts a family fun bingo night at Membury Village Hall on Saturday, February 4.
Eyes down at 6pm with cash prizes up for grabs. Children with free colouring and quizzes.
