Castle Inn's charity wall raising funds for Axminster causes

A unique fundraising initiative at The Castle Inn in Axminster has so far raised more than £350 for Axminster Hospital League of Friends and the Royal British Legion.

Landlords Paul and Sharon Bocker launched their charity wall after refurbishing the pub's garden area, with a castle-theme wall. surrounding the patio.

The wall is formed of 'bricks' that can be sponsored for a minimum donation of £2, raising funds for Axminster Hospital League of Friends and the Royal British Legion.

So far, it has raised £355.60 for the two charities and 'bricks' are still available to sponsor. Sponsors can user their bricks to write dedications for themselves, loved ones past and present, including lost pets, or even to advertise their business.
