Totally Locally Axminster are working with Axminster Community Emergency Response (ACER) to produce a comprehensive community guide to traders who are able to continue offering services during the lockdown which comes in effect on Thursday.

Totally Locally organiser Barrie Hedges told Nub News: "Pulling together the information has demonstrated very clearly the sheer determination that exists amongst Axminster's traders to get through this.

"The innovation they are using to enable them to continue providing a level of service to the local community is very impressive."

Mr Hedges is looking for information on the services being offered during lockdown such as click and collect, takeaways and deliveries.

He needs the information by end of play tomorrow (Wednesday) by email at [email protected] or traders can call him on 07899 923756.

Traders are also being asked to indicate whether they would be interested in a co-ordinated delivery service.
