A special visitor arrived in Axminster Tesco yesterday (Thursday) to help boost funds for the Poppy Appeal.

Ahead of Armistice Day today, the 'Poppy Man' arrived at Axminster Tesco to raise awareness of the Poppy Appeal being run by the Axminster branch of the Royal British Legion over the Remembrance period.

The model has been made of Remembrance poppies by Sgt Maria Bressington and the cadets of the 2019 Squadron Air Training corps at Sidmouth and was on loan to help the appeal in Axminster.
