Latest figures show 50 crimes in Axminster area in November

The latest crime figures released by police show there were 50 crimes in the wider Axminster area during November 2020. 

These figures compares to 61 crimes the previous month and 60 in November 2019.

From the 50 recorded incidents, 38 took place in Axminster Town and 12 in Axminster Rural, which also covers Uplyme, Kilmington, Hawkchurch, Dalwood, Stockland, Chardstock and surrounding areas.

In Axminster Town, crimes included 13 incidents of violence and sexual offences, nine incidents of anti-social behaviour, four public order offences, and 12 listed as 'other crimes'.

In Axminster Rural, crimes included four incidents of violence and sexual offences, two incidents of anti-social behaviour, one burglary, and five 'other crimes'.

Crime figures for December 2020 have not yet been released.
