Nub News editor Francesca Evans will be relaunching her fortnightly 'drop in' sessions at Axminster Community Waffle House this week.

Francesca started the fortnightly sessions last year, as a way to meet more people from Axminster, Seaton and the surrounding areas following the national lockdowns and to help them share their news stories and events with Nub News.

The drop-in sessions proved a successful and easy way for residents, businesses and organisations to share their local news stories, but Francesca has been unable to hold them during the busy summer months.

This week, she will be relaunching the drop-ins for the winter period and will be available from 1pm to 5pm in the 'Waffle Work' area of Axminster Community Waffle House on the following dates:

Thursday, October 6

Thursday, October 20

Thursday, November 3

Thursday, December 1

Thursday, December 15

Francesca will also be holding similar sessions at The Old School House Community Cafe in The Hub, Lyme Regis, where she is also editor of the LymeOnline newspaper and website. These will be held from 10.30am to 1.30pm on the following dates:

Friday, October 7

Friday, October 21

Friday, November 4

Friday, December 2

Friday, December 16

Residents or representatives of local organisations, businesses and charities and drop in to meet Francesca and share their news stories or upcoming events, or for assistance with publicity. You can also pop in to learn more about Nub News and LymeOnline and how to use the websites.

No appointment is needed.

Alternatively, you can call Fracesca on 07180 221 420 or email [email protected]
