Axminster mum Keri Herbert will soon be publishing her first children's book.

The book, called 'Finney Fox and the Plastic Bottle', will be aimed at children aged three to eight years with an important message about litter and recycling.

One day Finney fox cub roams too far from home. He finds a plastic bottle and thinks it is a bone; it's crinkly and it's crunchy, it's noisy and it's thin. Little Finney doesn't know it should have gone in the recycling bin.

Join Finney fox cub on his troublesome journey as he learns about litter and recycling with the help of his friends.

The book will be published by Kingsley Publishers on July 29.

Author Keri lives in Axminster with her husband and two young children. She has a degree in media communications from Bath Spa University, as well as A-levels in media and business studies.

At a very early age, Keri wanted to be a writer and could usually be found in a quiet corner with her head in a book.

Her other hobbies include reading, baking, long walks and engaging in fun activities with her family.
