The popular Yarty Party returns this weekend

Axminster's very own Devon extravaganza, the Yarty Party, is back this weekend with organisers promising a plethora of acts, workshops and activities ensuring there is something for everyone.

The Yarty Party is now an established event in the local community calendar; from its inception in 2017 it has continued to be a sell out success each year, including 2021 after the COVID pandemic.

This year's festival has already received bookings from returning revellers and families alike. Avid festival fans said: "We can't wait to be back at the sublime festival among a community delivering a magical atmosphere that is an experience not to be missed."

Yarty Party organisers echoed this sentiment, commenting: "We are thrilled to be bringing Yarty Party back for its fifth year and feel humbled by the support of the local community, volunteers and contributors who all pull together to make the festival what it is, Axminster is now firmly on the festival circuit and we are certainly feeling the festival vibes."

Organisers have said they are "very lucky" to be playing host to some internationally renowned DJS such as Chirs Tofu and Nick the Kid.

Chris Tofu plays a huge part in many larger festivals and is a key director of Shangri La, Boomtown, Latitude and Bestival to name a few. Equally, Nick the Kid can be seen hosting Hindsight and donning DJ booths around the globe.

It's not just dance music which will be found in The Dave, there is the Big Top, Wizard Stage and The Busk stop presenting more than 70 acts over the weekend where you can expect to find something you like, from The Scribes – a multi award winning hip hop trio hailing from Bristol – to Blimey Oh Riley - crossing multiple genres with uplifting sounds adding an endless Irish twist plus everything in between.

And as usual Yarty Party never leaves the kids out of the fun adding 20-plus workshops and activities to the mix will surely keep the whole family happy.

MK Hair bus will return for your festival salon needs and those who wish to add a bit of extra glow can visit Glow by Chloe all on site!

If all of that wasn't enough, Yarty Party is proud to have some of the best in local street food stalls keeping that hunger at bay; with Pippins community cafe returning for their second year, manning the tea tent and hosting the family breakfast club while raising money for Pippins Community Centre.

Other than hosting the Axe Valley Show, the show field, as it is known by many locals, the land is farmed for forage and grazing sheep and thanks are extended again to the Burrough family.

Its looking like the sunshine will triumph, setting the scene for what is promising to be a Fabulous Festival.

The Yarty Party will be held from July 15 to 15 and limited tickets are still available at Yartyparty.co.uk/tickets
