Having closed at the beginning to the month due to the second national lockdown, Axminster County Market will return this week having sought further guidance.

The market, held every Thursday at the Masonic Hall in South Street, will be open for food stalls only.

Organisers are encouraging shoppers to place pre-orders by messaging via the Axminster County Market Facebook page to minimise face-to-face time spent in the Masonic Hall.

All those attending should wear a face mask unless exempt and should follow social distancing regulations.

Axminster's weekly street market, also held every Thursday outdoors in Trinity Square, is also continuing as normal.
