All Saints Jubilee celebrations got off to a great start on Thursday afternoon at the village recreation ground.

Two musical groups from the village, The Pavillionares and The Offbeats played to people as they gathered for tea and cake.

Hobby horse races and fancy dress kept the children occupied.

Later, the Silver Linings Band played whilst the BBQ was fired up and everyone had a great evening.

The finale began at 9.30pm with the cutting of the Jubilee Cake made by villager Sue Reynolds, she was followed by Ellis Holt on the bugle playing the special jubilee composition, 'Majesty' to announce the lighting of the Beacon.

Many thanks to Friends of All Saints Church for organising the celebrations for the community.
