All Axminster Medical practice patients aged 18 or over currently eligible for the COVID-19 booster jab should have received a text message this week calling them to book an appointment.
Those patients that do not have a mobile phone registered on their health record will be sent an invitation by post.
Clinics for booster jabs will be run at Seaton Hospital on December 18, 23, 24 and 31.
It is also hoped that some small clinics will be run at Axminster Medical Practice but this is dependent on various factors, including the removal of the 15 minute monitoring period after vaccination, which staff are still waiting for confirmation on.
They are also planning on vaccinating all housebound patients within the next few days.
Staff 'demoralised and weary'
The medical centre said that organising the clinics had taken a "phenomenal amount of work to organise by demoralised and weary staff", adding: "We heard the news that we were expected to deliver boosters to all our remaining patients within a tiny window of 2.5 weeks at the same time you did via the news.
"The priority right now is that everyone get their booster as soon as possible. If you have already booked at a mass vaccination site please keep that appointment. If you can rely on family or friends to transport you to Seaton for the jab, please go ahead and book.
"We will let you know if it is possible to run any clinics in Axminster but these are likely to be for very limited numbers only."
Mass vaccination clinics in Devon
Booster jabs are also currently available at the Greendale Vaccination Centre, Exeter University, Kenton Victory Hall, and the English Riviera Centre in Torquay.
Greendale Vaccination Centre had to suspend its walk-in service on Monday due to high demand, but has said that it is accepting walk-ins again today for those aged 18 and over who have had their second dose at least 91 days earlier.
Greendale's opening hours are 8.30am to 7pm seven days a week at the time of writing.
The Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust has recommended booking online to ensure you get an appointment.
Book online
All those aged 18 and above who have already had their first two vaccines can book an appointment for their booster online as of today (Wednesday).
You can book your booster dose if it's been more than two months, or 61 days, since your second jab and you'll be given an appointment from three months, or 91 days, after the second jab.
If you've had a positive COVID-19 test, you'll also need to wait four weeks, or 28 days, until getting the booster.
You can book online here although the NHS website has been reporting delays due to high demand.
