Axminster Heritage Centre will be opening our summer season with our temporary exhibition Spinning a Yarn: The story of Sheep and Axminster which opens on Saturday 16th April. The exhibition will show how sheep and wool have played their part in the development of Axminster and the surrounding areas since the Iron Age. It is being launched on Saturday 16th April with sheep shearing taking place in our courtyard. There will also be a lamb and a ram for people to pet. A range of workshops, activities and talks will be accompanying the exhibition and all will be announced on the website (www.axminsterheritage.org), Facebook and in the Members newsletter.

From April 16th Axminster Heritage Centre's our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10.00am-4pm and Saturday 10.00-1pm. Entrance is £4, but it is Free for 16 and under and on the last Saturday of each month it is free for residents with an EX13 postcode.
