LYME Regis Reserves brushed away the cobwebs after Saturday's 5-2 defeat at Teigmouth to run riot on Easter Monday with a 8-0 victory over Devon and Exeter League Division One East opponents Otterton.

Prior to this afternoon's game, the Seasiders' second string were placed at the foot of the COVID-reset table and Otterton were in fourth position.

Axminster Town's buoyant youth section is looking for more coaches and is hoping to encourage more parents to step forward and help.

Mark Burrough currently coaches the youth section's under 6s, under 7s and under 8s with the under 8s entered in the Exeter and District Youth League.

Nub News commitment to local sport in East Devon was underlined last evening (Thursday) with the presentation of trophies awarded to the top batsmen and bowlers in last season's Devon Cricket Mini-League.

The full Devon League programme was not able to take place this summer because of the delayed season due to the coronavirus restrictions, so a number of tiered mini-leagues were organised instead.
