Good news for Axminster Town Reserves. They have been placed in the Premier Division of the new Devon and Exeter League structure next season.
The league has announced today (Monday) that they have abandoned the regional structure and there will be nine divisions next season across the county.
It's all happening at Tiger Way where Axminster Town's players are back in training for the coming season and with a summer of fundraising events planned.
The Tigers had their first pre-season friendly with a 3-2 defeat at home to Wincanton, a good work out for the players and satisfactory result against a very good side.
Seaton failed to build on their previous week's good form when their batting let them down in a 10-wicket defeat at home to North Devon. The defeat leaves Seaton languishing second from bottom in the table.
