The Frost Cup 4BBB stableford is a one off competition at Lyme Regis Golf Club but also the top-eight pairs qualify for a winter knock out.
STORM Alex made several encores at Lyme Regis Golf Club and curtailed the October medal, so attention turned to the Ted Ray Putter, a seniors' stableford off white tees the following day.
The heady scoring of the previous week had disappeared and nobody beat par. However, Gareth Williams, Rod McNab and Andy West all came in on 35 points.
THE ladies of Lyme Regis Golf Club played their 36-hole championships in a day with five prizes up for grabs, and although two names shone out the overall performances were a good reflection of the strength of the ladies section.
The strokeplay championship was won by scratch golfer Melissa McMahon who laid a solid, brilliant foundation by scoring one under par on the first 18, which included two consecutive birdies on two par 5s.
ROUND two of the Lyme Regis Golf Club Championship (Williams Bowl) was played in true summer weather.
With three players all in pole position after round 1 on 73 points, for James Newcombe and brothers Ian and Steven Mudford there was all to play for.
