The Tigers fielded four new players for this game - and didn't they do well?
Dawlish United 2, Seaton Town 1
Seaton first team travelled to Devon & Exeter Premier East early high-flyers Dawlish United on a wet and blustery day hoping for a result that reflected their determination to improve on the previous defeat against neighbours Colyton.

Axminster Reserves opened up a two-point lead at the top of the Devon and Exeter league Division Two East with a 4-2 away win over Ottery St Mary 2nds on Saturday.
The Tigers, who fell behind to a stunning free-kick , struggled to get the ball moving early in the game.
WITH maintenance week over at Lyme Regis Golf Club and the weather gods providing a splash of rain at the right time, the course was in good condition for the Centenary Sword stableford, with 12 players scoring par or better.
At the top it was tight, very tight, with four players all on 39 points. Spare a thought for six-handicapper Matt Corrick who finished off the podium on countback while five-handicapped Jon Stone finished in first place, followed by John Coley and Roger Turner. Such are the margins on countback that Stone's better score on the last six holes gave him gold, and this included gross birdies on the 15th and 17th, as both he and Coley scored 20 points on the back nine, with Turner on 19.
WHEN inclement weather threatened to wipe out the local football programme, you could have put money on the first game to be called being at Lyme Regis Football Club.
In recent times the Seasiders have gone for weeks without a home game because their Davey Fort pitch, literally cut into the side of a cliff, was notoriously wet.

LOCAL FOOTBALL RESULTS
Heavy rain at the end of the week and overnight on Friday led to a number of local games being called off. But a few games did beat the weather.

Saturday was certainly a Red Card day for Millwey Rise as both teams finished their respective games with 10 men when Jamie Tate for the 1st X1 and Sam Burke for the Reserves both received their marching orders.
AFTER a frustrating start to the season the young and inexperienced Lyme Rovers side picked up a well-deserved three points yesterday with 3-2 victory over Pymore.
Kicking into Woodroffe top pitch's notorious end-to-end wind, the Rovers absorbed Pymore's pressure well, and grew in stature in the first half, creating several half chances.
In the first local derby of the season, Colyton emerged 3-2 winners in a feisty Devon & Exeter League Premier East encounter at Seaton Town.
It was a typical competitive meeting between the two neighbours with no quarter given and yellow cards being handed out to Seaton's Lewis Cottam and David Goodhew.
