Ilchester Trojans Under 13s 1, Axminster Town 0

With the Tigers sitting top of the table this was the biggest game of the season against unbeaten Trojans.

The game was very tight with both defences on top in windy conditions. Few half chances fell to the Tigers with the best falling to Fin Lampey who just got tackled at the last minute to divert his shot wide.

With the Tigers just shading the first half, which finished 0-0, they had a glorious chance to take the lead when Theo Dibling put Alex Dixon through on goal who then rounded the keeper to slot home but the recovering defender some how diverted the ball away seeming close to his hand.

This galvanised the opposition who then had a good chance saved by the superb Cian Murdy in goal, Trojans then scored a soft goal when a cross evaded everyone to then roll slowly into the net from the strikers shin.

Axe pushed for the equaliser but just couldn't break through the tight defence and if it wasn't for the excellent defending from Ollie Gabb and keeper Cian they could of gone further behind !

Cian Murdy Ollie Gabb shared the man-of-the-match accolade.
