A large crowd is expected at Tiger Way tomorrow (Tuesday) night when Axminster Town meet Tiverton Town in the county cup.

The Tigers' away game at Teignmouth was called off on Saturday due to a water-logged pitch, but Axe retain their sixth place in the South West Peninsular Premier East Division.

Axminster have a major test on Saturday when they welcome Premier East leaders Okehampton to Tiger Way (kick-off 2.15pm).

Axminster Town have signed Harry Leisk, the former Upottery and Honiton Town player. Announcing the signing on the club website, manager Dan Prettejoihn said: "Harry is a player I have previously worked with at Upottery FC. He is direct, pacey and has a work-rate that can only help our squad.

"It also needs to be said that Honiton Town FC have played a massive part in this lad's development and I thank them for their assistance in making this transfer possible. Harry goes straight into the squad and adds to competition for places which can only benefit Axminster Town."

Axminster Town's Under 18s also enjoyed county cup success this weekend with a 7-1 victory over Tavistock AFC.
