With both the 1st and 2nd team games being cancelled last Saturday it gave the opportunity for the off the pitch fundraising team and in particular Rachael Burrough to provide the headlines with a Christmas Fair on Sunday. This was well organised and ran by Rachael with help on the day by a number of committee members and proved a success by raising over £2200.00 for the club funds. Our thanks goes to all the businesses and individuals who donated a number of high quality Christmas hampers and prizes for the Christmas raffle.
It has been a difficult year for all football clubs as it has been for many other organisations so this provided a welcome boost to the club's funds. Our thanks goes to everyone who attended the event and supported the club as well as having a good time
A date for all supporters diary is Wednesday 26th January 2022 when the 1st team play at home against Exeter City in the Devon St Lukes Bowl cup quarter final. The last time we played Exeter City was in a preseason friendly back in the early 80's. This is the 1st time we have played against them in a competitive game for a long time. It will draw a good crowd and be another boost to a club looking to develop further.
