Still undefeated at home, Uplyme 1sts felt like it was two points dropped, as they drew 2-2 with Elmore 3rds.
It was 2-1 at halftime, with goals from men-of-the-match Tom Fitz and Mikey Sayers, and it should have been a platform on which they built a win.
Frustratingly, the second half involved far too much aggro and arguing, when chances weren't finished when they came, and the Swallows conceded 15-lus free kicks to a team looking to pressure on set pieces.
"Only ourselves to blame, but we can learn for our away travels, next week." said joint manager Pete Blandamer. after the game. "We had a number of players unavailable, meaning we had fewer options to affect the direction of the second half. The opposition was good at disrupting our play, and we dipped to that level."
Next Saturday Uplyme are away to Culm United who sit three places below in Devon and Exeter Division Four.
