Colyton 1st team, well up with their fixtures despite the recent postponements due to the weather, were without a game again on Saturday.
However, they will have been heartened by their nearest rival in the Devon and Exeter Premier division , Lyme Regis, losing 3-1 to bottom of the table Okehampton Argyle 2nds who had 11 put past them the previous week. That narrows the Seasiders' lead to just one point in fourth place, although they have two games in hand over the Tanners.
This coming Saturday Colyton have the chance to keep the pressure on Lyme when they entertain Dawlish United who are second from bottom
Colyton 2nds were in action on Saturday, beating Elmore 3rds 4-1 in Division Four. Man-of-the-match Billy Knox grabbed himself a hat-trick. This weekend they are away to Elmore and other three points could see them jump above the Tiverton side in the table.
