Axminster Town supporters will be looking for their new Reserve team to deliver silverware to Tiger Way this season

Introducing the reformed Axminster Reserves who have rejoined the Devon & Exeter League and will be playing in Division Two East. They start their season on Saturday (September 19th) away to Pinhoe 1st.

Former Upottery manager Dan Prettejohn has taken over as manager and has brought a few players with him, some of whom have played under his guidance for nine years.

With wonderful facilities at Tiger Way, the envy of most clubs in Devon football, an experienced manager and a professional set-up behind them, the Tigers second string are expected to be challenging for honours in the new league set-up.

Here's their line-up (pictured above): back row (left to right) - Gary Moore, Kyle Williams, Oliver Andrews, Ben Graddon, Adam Cook, Jack Trevisick, Jon Lambert, Liam Male, Charlie Wilson, Sam Winslade.

Front row (left to right) - Mark Tucker, Dan Scadden, Ryan Andrews, Dan Prettejohn (manager) Tom Edwards (captain), Ryan Vickery, Jamie Girton.

Three players missing from the pic are: Tom Barnes, Jay Cross and Danny Symons.

Axminster Reserves first home game will be against close neighbours and rivals Millwey Rise 1st on Saturday, September 26th - a game not be be missed by local football followers.

The Axminster regulars will be keen to see their new 2nd X1 in action and will be looking for them to deliver some silverware to Tiger Way this season.
