Axminster eet Credutn United tonight in the Walter C. Parsons quarter-final.

A disappointing 0-0 draw against Elburton Villa prevented Axminster Town moving back into the top six of the South West Peninsular Premier East division, a fixture which the Tigers would have expected to win.

The fixtures are coming thick and fast for the Tigers who tonight (Tuesday) welcome league high-flyers Crediton United to Tiger Way in the quarter finals of the Walter C Parsons Cup (kick-off 7.30).

This coming Saturday Axe travel to Plymouth Marjon who lie in 14th place in the Premier East table. They go into this fixture in seventh place two points below Bovey Tracey. The following week (February) they are at home to Dartmouth, tenth in the table.

*In the Pensinsular East League Axminster's Craig Veal is in the top ten scorers so far this season with 14 goals to his name.

*In the table of best attendances at Premier East matches, Axminster lie in seventh position with an average of 109.9 spectators, their best gate being 230.
