Rain washed out Saturday's Devon Cricket League programme with only two teams from the Axe Valley area getting in a few overs before the games were abandoned.
Seaton 1st X1 were at home to Cullompton in the A Division. The visitors won the toss and elected to field and Seaton were on 97 for 3 after 24 overs when the match was abandoned, giving each team seven league points.
Seaton featured in a high-scoring pre-season friendly yesterday against local rivals Sidmouth 2nds, winning by 107 Runs.
Batting first in the 40-over game, Seaton amassed 332 runs for the loss of just five wickets, the highlight of which was an impressive knock of 100 by Josh Cann, his first century for the club.

Nub News commitment to local sport in East Devon was underlined last evening (Thursday) with the presentation of trophies awarded to the top batsmen and bowlers in last season's Devon Cricket Mini-League.
The full Devon League programme was not able to take place this summer because of the delayed season due to the coronavirus restrictions, so a number of tiered mini-leagues were organised instead.

The wait is over for Somerset County Cricket Club members and supporters as today has seen the publication of the Vitality Blast and Royal London Cup fixtures.
Following last summer's shortened Vitality Blast, the competition returns to a 14-match group stage competition this summer with the counties split into North and South groups.
