Devon Cricket League fixtures start on Saturday with the third East Devon T-20 Bash also getting underway this week

The first day of the cricket season was washed out with all the Devon Cricket league fixtures falling furl to torrential rain last Saturday. Only eight in 96 games were played.

So the season will begin in earnest this Saturday with the following fixtures for the Axe Valley area sides: A Division - Kilmington away to Clyst St George; B Division - Seaton home to Bideford/Littleham/Westward Ho; Uplyme and Lyme Regis away to Ottery St Mary; E Division East - Chardstock home to Clyst St George; F Division East - Kilmington 2nd X1 home to Ottery 2nds, Axminster Town. 1sts away to North Devon 3rd X1; G Division East - Seaton 2nd X1 away to Honiton 2nd X1; H Division East - Axminster Town 2nd X1 home to Cullompton 3rd X1.

The third East Devon Bash T-20 competition, jointly sponsored by Nub News and LymeOnline, also gets off the ground this week. Last year's trophy being won by Upottery.
