More than 200,000 people in Devon have had their first COVID-19 vaccine, the highest figure in the South West, latest NHS England statistics show.

The figures, which provide the position as of January 31, show that there had been 217,344 vaccinations in the county, with 204,815 of them being the first dose.

West Street short stay car park in Axminster will be affected by the changes

Sunday parking charges are set to be introduced in car parks in Axminster, Ottery St Mary and Honiton, and evening charges will be brought in across the district.

East Devon District Council's present car parking tariffs treat Sundays as a normal trading day in coastal towns, along with Colyton and Lympstone. But for historic reasons, the council has never asked for Sunday payments in car parks in Ottery St Mary, Honiton and Axminster.
