Friday: Axminster Musical Theatre Quiz Night
Do you have what it takes to be the ultimate quiz champion? Then, gather your friends and join us for this annual quiz night to raise funds for Axminster Musical Theatre!
To be held at Axminster Masonic Hall, South Street, from 7.30pm on Friday, June 9.
Friday: Axminster Town Football Club Family Fun
Join Axminster Town Football Club in Tiger Way on Friday, June 9 from 6pm onwards to enjoy their first Friday Family Fun Evening of 2023 - a free family evening, of lawn games and ball games.
Let your child enjoy ball games supervised by one of our youth coaches or older youth players from 6pm to 8pm. As well as the bar being open and the barbecue being fired up, the club's kitchen menu will also be available.
Saturday: High Jinx
A top-class magician who has been a main attraction at Blackpool's iconic tower for the last three years is heading for Axminster.
Michael Jordan works under the stage name High Jinx and is renowned in the industry for the brilliantly natural way he engages with audiences. He will be performing at Axminster Guildhall on Saturday, June 10 at 2.30pm.
Sunday: Open Farm Sunday
Dennings Down Farm, near Axminster (EX13 7JN), is participating once again in Open Farm Sunday on June 11 from 11am to 4pm.
This small organic farm of 190 acres includes 30 acres of woods, about 25 acres of wild flower meadows and five ponds. Come and experience life down on an organic farm and learn how farms are trying to work with nature to help improve our food and wildlife. All welcome.
Sunday: Special Summer Concert with Tenor Gregory Steward
The Church-St Michael and All Angels in Stockland, near Axminster, will be raising funds for repairs to its bell tower with this concert by tenor Gregory Steward, to be held on Sunday, June 11 with doors opening at 5.30pm for 6pm start.
With stunning acoustics and a superb tenor singing a varied repertoire, this will be a delightful evening.
