All weekend: Yarty Party
This three-day festival returns to Axminster Showground, focusing on the very best music, entertainment and DJs. There will also be a selection of the best food and drink the South West has to offer. Headliners will include the Barefoot Bandit and Duncan Disorderley.
There will be something for everyone and the event will be raising money for local charities. Some last-minute tickets are still available.
Friday: Football Club Family Fun
Join Axminster Town Football Club in Tiger Way on Friday, July 21 from 6pm onwards to enjoy their Friday Family Fun Evening - a free family evening, of lawn games and ball games.
Let your child enjoy ball games supervised by one of our youth coaches or older youth players from 6pm to 8pm. As well as the bar being open and the barbecue being fired up, the club's kitchen menu will also be available.
Friday: Open Mic Night
If you have a talent of any kind then why not come along to The Community Waffle House in Axminster and share it at Open Mic Night on Friday, July 21.
Saturday: Hogfest 2023
Hogchester Farm, between Axminster and Charmouth, will be hosting Hogfest on Saturday, July 22 from 2pm to 10pm, with a programme of local bands to entertain us as we relax in the sun overlooking Charmouth and Jurassic Coast. Gourmet hotdogs, a coffee shop and a range of local ciders and beers will also be available, with tickets costing £12.
All proceeds will be shared between Hogchester conservation trust and Dorset wildlife trust to support the establishment of new meadows, through seed collection, land preparation, sowing and monitoring.
