Visit Axminster's new pre-loved toy store

No Toy Left Behind will open its new pre-loved toy store at The Pippins Community Centre on Friday, February 25 with the launch event running from 1pm to 4pm.

As well as browsing the collection of refurbished, gift-quality toys, there will be story time with local children's environmental author Emily Hobson-Martin, a screening of the environmental short animation 'The Story of Stuff', a fun upcycling art project and an update on Net Zero Devon from Catherine Causley, East Devon District Council climate change officer.

Do your bit at the litter pick!

Plastic Free Axminster will be hosting one of their regular community litter picks on Saturday, February 26.

Meet at the NCP car park in the town centre at 9.15am, wear suitable footwear and clothes and bring a sturdy pair of gloves. Other equipment will be provided for you and there will be a cup of tea available afterwards.

Find a bargain at the table-top sale

A table-top sale will be held from 10am to 12.30pm on Saturday, February 26 at Musbury Village Hall, raising funds for St Michael's Church in Musbury.

Stalls will include bric-a-brac to books, cards, cakes, craft items and much more, with refreshments available including bacon butties.
