Shoplifters are operating in the Axe Valley, Axminster traders have been warned.

Chamber of Commerce members in Axminster have been told that two shoplifters -one male, one female - were believed to have been in Axminster before moving on to Seaton having targeted shops and a petrol station.

The male is described as wearing a green jacket with jogging bottoms and white trainers with a white bag. The female has brown/purple hair and a large handbook.

The two trading communities are working together and the police are investigating.
