The recently-reformed Membury Primary Academy PTFA held a 'spooktacular' Halloween disco on Saturday evening.

Organisers said: "We enjoyed trick or treat, a fancy dress competition, apple bobbing and face painting. It was fantastic to see so many children from the village and surrounding area dance the afternoon away.

"We would like to say a very big thank you to all those who attended. We raised an amazing £161.50 for school funds.

The PTFA are now looking forward to their Santa's grotto to be held from 3pm to 6pm on December 6, where for only £5 you receive a gift from Father Christmas. You can also make your own decoration, have a photo with Santa and his elves and decorate your own cookie.

There will also be stalls, games, refreshments and arts and crafts to keep you entertained.

If you would like to book to see Father Christmas or would like to hold a stall, email [email protected] or contact Lucy (chair) on 07488 364 117.
