Rose garden to open to public in aid of Axminster Hospital League of Friends

A private garden in Smallrdige boasting more than 200 varieties of roses will open to the public in aid of Axminster Hospital League of Friends and its Home Nursing Service.

The owners of Socks Orchard in Smallridge (EX13 7JN) will be opening their impressive garden between 1pm and 5pm on June 24, 25 and 26.

The garden boasts more than 200 different rose varieties, a large number of interesting trees, including a small orchard, alpine troughs, scented geraniums and succulents along with an extensive variety of vegetables and fruit.

There will be plants, cards and much more on sale, as well as homemade cakes and refreshments.

Entry costs £5 and dogs are welcome on leads.
