Police believe this man could have "vital information which could assist their enquiries"

Police are appealing for information following an instance of racist abuse against a schoolboy in Axminster.

The incident occurred on Lyme Road at about 8.30am on Tuesday, December 15 and involved a man shouting abuse at the boy relating to his accent and skin colour.

Officers investigating the incident would like to speak to the man pictured because they believe he may have vital information which could assist their enquiries.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or recognises the man in the picture is asked to contact police on 101 or via email at [email protected] quoting crime reference CR/104694/20.
