Police and ambulances called to two Axminster car crashes

POLICE and ambulance crews were called to two road accidents in the Axminster area yesterday evening.

At about 6.10pm, police were called to Lyme Road, Axminster, following a report that a car had overturned.

A man in his 70s was taken to the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in an ambulance for a head wound.

Then at 6.50pm, reports were received of a two vehicle collision with one vehicle overturned on the A35 near Dalwood.

The three occupants of the overturned vehicle managed to crawl free and were taken to hospital via ambulance with suspected minor injuries.

Any witnesses or anyone with information on this second incident are asked to call police on 101 or email [email protected] quoting log reference 720, 3/6/20.
