Nub News editor in Waffle House's 'Community Hotseat' to talk all things 'local news'

Nub News editor Francesca Evans joined Matt Smith from Axminster's Community Waffle House this week to discuss all things 'local news'.

Francesca - who edits Axminster and Seaton Nub News, as well as the LymeOnline website and newspaper in Lyme Regis - was put in the Waffle House's 'Community Hotseat' this week.

She and Matt discussed the importance of community news and the challenges and opportunities local media faces, including the digital revolution, rise of social media and 'fake news'.

Francesca spoke about why she is passionate about local news and being part of the community, and discussed some of the exciting and innovative ideas for the future of Axminster.
