Plastic Free Axminster have received personalised hi-vis vests sponsored by Axminster Care Service.

Mervyn Symes of Axminster Care Service is pictured above presenting members of Plastic Free Axminster with the vests, which will be worn during the group's regular litter picks and other events.

Kay Pike of Plastic Free Axminster said: "We are very grateful to the Care Service for their support.

"The personalised hi-vis vests will very useful in helping us to engage in conversation with people, including visitors to the town about litter and single-use plastic and hopefully provide a reminder that we all need to use the bins!"
